Maple also joined our family in October 2024 after a trip to Nashville to meet up with Helena and Ryan from their ranch in Oklahoma. When Maple was born, she left her breeders scratching their heads. Her mom is a gorgeous yellow mini highland who was bred to a stellar black highland bull. Maple was born with a strawberry blonde body and a completely white face. Genetics can be weird sometimes but this was too much. Helena looked back and remembered that there was one singular day that their neighbor’s mini hereford bull broke through the fencing and into her heifers area and SURPRISE! There’s Maple. 

Just like her actual father, Maple is a wild thing. She loves getting into anything she can (including dog crates),  busting into treat bags, escaping pens, eating every last animal cracker and overall being a completely adorable and loveable menace. We love how she is growing out and her coloring and horns are beautiful! She was bred with Herbaria’s legendary chondro+ bull Forde, so we are anticipating a beautiful December baby from her!
